This book is fantastic! Larada Horner-Miller and Marshall Flippo obviously spent many hours doing interviews, plus she also interviewed his family members, friends, and other square dance callers and dancers! Even at age 91, Marshall Flippo had a fantastic memory. The book includes info on his military service during WW2, and his lifetime as a square dance caller traveling around the U.S. as well as in foreign countries. It took me only a few days to read all 576 pages. I highly recommend this book to everyone who ever even tried square dancing!
