Highlights
A yellow gold wedding band with a flat hammered texture and irregular shape. I start by making a plain band from 9 carat gold and then shape it by hand so each one is completely unique. The hammer strikes the metal at slightly different angles giving a subtle faced look while also transferring a ridged texture that reminiscent of a rugged landscape. There are also some deeper notches and dents scattered across the surface. The ring is very comfortable to wear as I carefully smooth and round the inner edges.
