Crafted of Solid Sterling Silver, this cross bears two bars on it.
The top bar represents the sign nailed above Christs’ head,
upon which the words “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews”
were mockingly scrawled. The bottom bar was the footrest that was nailed
in place to keep him from falling off the cross; presumably, Jesus
would have pushed up on this bar to enable himself to see, better, the thief
who confessed Him.
