Let's face it, after the first year of your child's life it becomes much more difficult to find the time to write down all those memories, favorites and milestones. However, those memories are still precious, and you're going to want a special place to keep them for years to come.

We have created small, manageable, guilt-free birthday books to help you continue to record just the right amount of sweet memories after your child's first year.

►Our birthday books are 8.5" W by 7.25" H with the interior pages being 7.25" by 7.25", making it the perfect size to keep nearby and close-at-hand.

Our lay-flat design and simple prompts add to the manageability of our products. Pages accommodate up to 4"x6" photos; 3"x5" and 3x3" or 4x4" square prints also work well.

► The book pictured is for a three-year old {starting with their 3rd birthday} but this design is available up to age 6. Just specify what number/age you'd like in the "version" drop-down menu.

► This book will have a front cover just like the one pictured in the main picture and a coordinating back cover. Please note: You can swap this cover for ANY cover in the shop, just specify if you'd like a change in the note to seller box at checkout. You can check out all our girl covers here:

► Each book will contain the following sections, printed using a high-quality laser printer on premium, bright-white card stock:

/// Celebrations ///
A four page birthday spread with a place for a 4x6 photo and a few quick notes of how you celebrated, who was there, etc., and photo pages for two additional birthday party pictures. This section is followed by nine holiday pages, each with a place for a 4x6 photo and a quick blurb about how you celebrated. The following holidays are included in this section: Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (or Hanukkah. If you'd prefer Hanukkah, just let us know in the "Message to Seller" box at checkout).

Please use the "holiday start" date drop-down menu to choose which holiday you'd like this section to begin with, based on your child's birthday (Select the one right after their birthday. For example, if your child's birthday is July 1st, you'd select Fourth of July).

/// Favorites ///
These four pages are to record your child's favorite things (games, toys, songs, food, etc) and to include four 4x6 photos of them with their favorite things.

/// Moments ///
Twelve pages, each with a place for a 4x6 photo and a few blank lines to record any moments you don't want to forget such as family vacations, special outings, milestones, etc. Or use these twelve pages to record a moment from each month of the year.

/// Sweet Things ///
Our favorite part! These twelve lined journal pages are where you'll want to write down all the strange, silly, and down-right hilarious things that come out of your child’s mouth. It's amazing how quickly you forget the funny things they say so be sure to keep your book close at hand so you can write it all down.

Yes! We carry books that are similar in content to our baby books for kids up to age 6. Instead of birth pages, these books have a couple of birthday/how we celebrated pages. Also, instead of milestones, they have a favorites section to write favorite toys, colors, games, etc. You can find the older child books in our "Big Kids" section. Please note that you can switch out covers for these. If you want a book for your three year-old but love one of the newborn book covers, go ahead and order the three year-old version of the book and specify cover choice in the note to seller box at checkout.

I know how much you want your journal (it's time to start documenting, right?!) so I try to get my products out quickly. All journals are handmade start to finish, once the order is placed. I usually have a three day turnaround on my books but promise to have them in the mail no later than 5 business days after purchase. If I have a longer than normal queue, and cannot guarantee shipment within 5 business days, I will post this in my shop announcement at the top of my main shop page.

All orders ship via the good ol' USPS. Most books arrive within 3-4 days of shipment, sometimes sooner.

Why am I being asked for baby's first holiday? We order the holidays in the celebrations section of the book in chronological order, based on your child's due date/birthdate. You'll want to select the closest holiday after their due date/birthday. For example, if your child's birthday is May 1st, you'd want to select Mother's Day.

Contact us: within 3 days of delivery. Please email hello@spunkandlove.com to initiate a return.

Ship items back: within 7 days of delivery. We will respond to your initial request for a return with all necessary steps to complete your return. Customers choosing to return an approved item are responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

Refunds issued: within 48 hours of us receiving the item we will refund the original payment method used, minus the original shipping cost.

I love this book just as much as my first year book! I love scrapbooking and I think this book is a lot more personal than just a baby calendar where you record their milestones. My only issue with this copy is the end of the spiral spine is cut shorter than it should be, so the pages always come out of that bottom ring.
