When it comes to stretching your ear lobes, it's crucial to proceed with patience and care. Slow and steady progress is key, and you should aim to never experience any pain during the process.

Our recommended technique for safe stretching involves using PTFE Tape, commonly known as white plumber's tape. This flexible tape can be wrapped around your plug, adding 1 or 2 layers every 2 to 3 weeks. This gradual process allows your ear lobes to adjust gradually to the increased size. Remember to choose the appropriate size plug for your current stretch, ensuring a snug fit without causing any discomfort. This method provides a controlled and manageable way to expand your ear lobes while reducing the risk of complications.

Not seeing your size? Message me about custom stone plugs from rare and unique materials. I'm happy to do custom work 10mm and up. I generally have enough stone to make a set for you in your size or I can even size down a set that I have already made.
Minimum on custom orders is $100 depending on material.

I can not accept returns of body jewelry for hygienic reasons unless we messed up your order on our end, they were damaged in transit, or they are defective(massively out of spec).
If you have a damaged or defective set of plugs you would like to return for an exchange, please contact me. I will need photos showing the issue and if it's within our policy im more than happy to help out.
Once receiving the plugs and inspecting them I will send out a replacement set 'if' they are indeed defective or damaged.

Keep in mind that natural materials vary in color and pattern and may contain slight imperfections. That is part of the beauty of organic body jewelry. Also, be aware that while I do my best to photograph body jewelry to represent their true colors on screen; different monitors, cameras, and lighting can change the way they look. I do however make sure to match the plugs to their mate in a set as best I can so that the set matches. The photo on the listing is an example of the range of sizes, colors, and patterns you can expect to see in that stone type. On stones that have wide ranges of colors, I try to post a picture of the range that stone can be. Be sure to look at ALL the photos.

All plugs are sold as sets of two unless otherwise noted.

All of our jewelry is brand new and unworn, and we make sure to stand by this statement so our customers are not receiving used jewelry. We want our customers to be happy and if there is a problem or defect in the jewelry we will gladly fix the problem. It is your responsibility however, to read store policies before purchasing, and to make sure you are ordering the right size/gauge. If you aren't sure what your size/gauge is, please visit your local tattoo/piercing shop and they can tell you exactly what size it is.

Stone plugs are a handmade item and therefore will vary slightly from company to company, plug to plug, and from stone to stone. A set of plugs you bought from another store that is 0g may not have the same size flares as the next set you buy.

Our flares will range up to 2mm on most pieces. Keep this in mind especially with the smaller sized plugs.

As someone who had been stretching his ears for over a decade, I can tell you that it is our personal responsibility to take care of our lobes and to make sure they are elastic enough to fit a variety of flare sizes.

We guarantee the plugs size based on the size of the plug as measured at the center of the saddle(the part your lobe sits in)

In the unfortunate event that your package is returned to us at the shop for having an incorrect address we will reach out to you to set up a way for you to pay the additional postage required to ship the package to your correct address. APTC is happy to provide free shipping the first time we send a order but not twice.
If there is no reply to our message or the customer does not wish to pay the extra postage we will refund the customers order minus a 25% restocking fee.

In the rare event that USPS misplaces or damages the orders we lovingly pack and ship out to you guys, Austin Plug & Tunnel Co. has taken the liberty of insuring every single order against any unforeseeable events after it leaves us here in the shop.
Should your package come up missing or damaged, please contact your local USPS office about filing a insurance claim.
