This leather bookmark is perfect as due to it having internal magnets it won't accidentally slip out of your book.

Made from a soft patent teal leather and lined with an organic wool felt in dark grey melange* lining with dark brown thread colour.
*This wool is undyed and is a mixture of natural wool colours blended.

All leathers used are reclaimed/upcycled from the fashion industry and are by-products from the food industry. Using reclaimed materials and upcycling help keeps wastage out of landfills. By-products are a great way to make every part useful and again create less wastage.

  For a really personal touch, this leather can be personalised by hot foil stamping. If you would like to personalise your bookmark, please follow the instructions below. Please follow carefully as failure to do so may result in a delay in sending out your order. (see photo 2)

From the drop-down options menu on the order page, choose one of the following:

• Up to 15 characters including spacing and punctuations on 1 Line Personalised - this is for a HOT FOILED leather bookmark with only 1 line containing a maximum of 15 characters including spaces. If you have chosen initials less than 4 characters I will use a larger font.
• Up to 15 characters including spacing and punctuations on 1 Line + Gift Box - this is for a HOT FOILED leather bookmark with only 1 line containing a maximum of 15 characters including spaces and sent in a gift wrapped box.
• Up to 4 lines - this is for a HOT FOILED leather bookmark with up to lines with each line containing a maximum of 15 characters including spaces.
• 4 Lines + Gift Box - this is for a HOT FOILED leather bookmark with up to 4 lines with each line containing a maximum of 15 characters including spaces and sent in a gift-wrapped box.
• Front + Back HOT FOIL STAMPING - this is for a leather bookmark with up to 4 lines on the front and up to 4 lines on the back with each line containing a maximum of 15 characters including spaces.
• Front + Back + Gift Box HOT FOIL STAMPING - this is for a leather bookmark with up to 3 lines on the front and up to 3 lines on the back with each line containing a maximum of 8 characters including spaces and sent in a gift-wrapped box.

Please note:
• All letters in capitals only. Stamps available - A-Z, 1-9, & . , - :;?!();:♥(heart motif) ★(star motif)
• For line length, the maximum number of characters is LISTED ABOVE this is due to the width of the bookmark and the size of the stamps.
• If you would like a bespoke wider bookmark made, please message me.
• There are slight and unique differences that cannot be predicted as even on the same skin/hide different parts may react differently. This reveals the natural grains which are part of the beautiful characteristic of leather.
• When using your bookmark, I hope you will enjoy and appreciate the experience of these unique characteristics especially as leather will age beautifully with use.
• Finally, I really want to provide you with the perfect item; however, on occasions, orders come in with a personalised message that is too long. If this happens, I will contact you so we can hopefully work with a shorter message. If that is not possible, I will offer a complete refund. Sometimes customers do not respond. If this happens, I will offer a full refund after 7 days of no communication from you.

Standard postage = Royal Mail 2nd class. Upgrades are available at checkout.
Special delivery guaranteed next day (does not cover Saturday) option is available as is Special Delivery Saturday guaranteed should you wish for delivery to be received on a Saturday. Please note to qualify for Saturday delivery you must order in advance to allow time to prepare the item, for example, please do not order on Friday expecting the item will be delivered on Saturday.

All items will be posted via Royal Mail International Tracked delivery, (where possible) or international signed for delivery. Other than cards and low value items (under £10) which will be posted as standard for the lower shipping fee.
This is the preferred shipping method as it can be tracked, you are welcome to request standard (lower cost) postal delivery without confirmation or insurance, I will obtain a proof of posting, however, should you chose this option and your item does not arrive I cannot send out a replacement as there is no way to prove the item did not arrive.

We aim to reduce, reuse, and recycle wastage where possible, therefore not all items will come in gift boxes unless stated in the item description, however, we can ensure you all our products will be in sent in appropriate protective packaging that is and can be recycled, where possible. https://bylawlondon.com/2017/10/04/

All our gift boxes are made from recycled cardboard, and as standard practice in the interest of reusing/reducing waste, we use magazine pages as wrapping paper and ribbons will vary as these are off-cuts of fabric that would have been deemed as wastage. Please see the example on product pages.
Gift-wrap option(additional cost)uses handmade wrapping paper that supports rural communities as well as a handwritten gift tag.

Unfortunately it seems USPS is not leaving cards to say they have attempted delivery, I have had a high number of 'return to sender' packages, due to no collection at USPS.
If you have received an email to say your item has been shipped, you would normally find a tracking number on that email or in your Etsy account under orders.
Please check after 10 days to see where your order is, sometimes it can randomly be held at customs, but if delivery has been attempted and you have not received a card they will return to sender after 3 weeks. I cannot re-send packages unless you cover the costs as it is roughly £9.65 (weight and size dependent) to send with tracking to the US. Thank you.

Absolutely love it. Bought for my dad as a Christmas present and he loves it and started using it right away. Very well made and the text was very witty and made us laugh. Would definitely recommend and thinking of buying one for myself :)
