Highlights
The TURTLE Loom™ brings patent pending continuous strand hexagon weaving to pin loom weavers. This little loom enables you to weave "plain weave" or "tabby" hexagons. Its unique design combines two weaving methods to make the weaving of hexagons possible.
The original TURTLE Loom™ is perfect to make coasters, dish cloths, table runners, pillows, stuffed toys, scarves, hats and other accessories, clothing, and let’s not forget … throws and blankets in all sizes. Now you can WEAVE your Grandmother's Flowers Garden quilt!
The loom is made of quality Birch or American ApplePly plywood, finished beautifully with two coats of traditional clear Shellac, sealed with satin Poly. The hexagon weaving area measures a little less than 4” side-to-side, and each of the six hexagon sides measures a little over 2”.
The loom kit contains:
1 original TURTLE loom™ R - for worsted weight yarn
Your choice of weaving tools (see below)
1 plastic packing/beating comb (1 comb per order)
1 project storage bag
1 instructions booklet (1 booklet per order)
Please choose a weaving tool(s) option:
- “Locker Hook”. You will receive one 6.5" locker hook (size 4mm, color may vary).
- “Hook & Needle”. You will receive one crochet hook (size 4mm, color may vary) and one 7" weaving needle with a blunt tip.

Turtle looms are THE best pin looms you can find. I have a few different ones, and they're all so well made and enjoyable to weave on. The pins are strong and smooth, and the finish on the wood base is perfect.
