Inserts for Midori or Travler's notebooks, or perfectly fun for individual use! These notebooks are hand-sewn (not stapled).

The cover is smooth cardstock. This cover is double-sided; the inside is a rose-colored pattern (see picture). If you would prefer the interior pattern to be on the exterior of your notebook, please leave me a Note to Seller. The exterior cover is more of a true red than it appears to be in the pictures.

Each notebook contains one of the following options:

The heavyweight paper is 67lb (slightly lighter than standard cardstock) and can be used with markers or even watercolors.

The 24lb paper is closer to the weight of normal, everyday paper, but is still heavier than typical copy paper (usually 18-20lb). I personally use a thick gel pen (a Signo 307, which has a .7mm tip) and have absolutely no issues with bleed-through on the 24lb paper. There is a slight shadowing on the opposite side of the page, but it is fairly minimal.

The heavyweight paper is 67lb - typical cardstock is around 100lb. This is a fairly heavy, stiff paper. We've used Sharpie marker on it with very minimal bleed-through and have also used watercolors with no bleed-through.

It comes down to personal preference. I like notebooks that a more flexible, so I prefer the 24lb, but the 67lb is great for artwork or if you like a sturdier page.

While we've tried to provide the most usual sizes for traveler's notebooks, I know that there are sometimes unusually-sized TNs out there. (My sister's first TN used notebooks that were 6.25"x3.5".)

Please feel free to message if you have an off-size that you would like made, and we will get back to you with pricing - it will probably be whatever price is closest to the size you need. I make all the notebooks to order either way, so making one that is an odd size isn't much more effort.

It can be frustrating and confusing trying to find an insert just the right size for your notebook - we are happy to help make the process a little easier!

Please note that the overwhelming majority of the items in our shop are created to your order specifications, which is why, as a rule, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if you feel that your notebook does not meet your order requests, please contact us so that we can reach a satisfactory resolution. We include a packing slip with all orders to make it easy to compare your request to what you receive.

All packages are shipped via USPS and include a tracking number, which will be sent to you by Etsy when the package is shipped. Every once in a while, packages will go astray as they make their way across the country. If your tracking number indicates that your package has been stationary for a full week (seven days), please contact me about a refund or replacement.
