“Sublimation is a process where special dyes are printed onto a transfer paper and then infused into a extremely durable coating under pressure and heat.

Instead if printing the image directly on the surface, which may scratch easily, the image is infused into the coating to provide long lasting protection and durability. These signs can be used outside however to ensure a long life keep them out of direct sunlight.
Since these custom signs are also made from steel they should also be kept out of the rain.
