Are your sunglasses and eyeglasses original?

Absolutely. I stand behind the authenticity of my sunglasses collection. All the frames I sell are genuine vintage, made in the 70s, 80s and 90s, unworn and in mint condition. All our frames are original and never used.

Will old sunglasses protect my eyes from UV light?

The short answer is "yes". This technology was already used back then; our ancestors wanted their eyes to be protected as much as we do! In fact, in older decades mass production hadn't yet forced manufacturers to cut every corner possible. I'd rather question contemporary UV protection lenses than state-of-the-art, handmade sunglasses crafted by legendary manufacturers. Some of the lenses are even better than anything you can find today.

My name is Harry Levi, and I’ve been in the sunglasses business for years. I’m an advocate of the highest quality products. I realized early on that the Europe was the leader in quality, as well as the fact that Asia and China were the leaders in the loss of quality. And so I made it a point to put on this website only the frames and sunglasses made predominantly in Italy from the mid 1970s through to the 1990s, which was the height of excellence throughout the world, and without any Asian influence. That influence has progressed into most European manufacturers, from then until today. Please note that, as stated, all our glasses come from Italy and France, from a time when products were of the highest quality.

How do I get the glasses to fit me perfectly?

Since every face is different, we try to do as much as possible in advance to balance the frames so you get them straight. But for a perfect fit you may have to go to an optical store for assistance.

What is your returns policy?

You are welcome to try and return sunglasses in perfect condition with no sign of use, within 7 days of receiving them.

How can I pay for the glasses online?

We have a variety of payment methods: PayPal, Credit Card, bank transfer. Choose your favorite one or contact me if you would prefer something not listed here.

The other day I saw a nice pair I thought I might buy later. They’re gone! Can I still buy this model?

Generally we have a good inventory, but it depends on what you’re looking for. So if you like something and you have a good feeling about it – don’t hesitate. Once it’s gone and sold out, it is probably never going to be available again.

I wear prescription glasses, can you insert optical lenses into the vintage frames?

All our glasses are optical quality and you can put your own prescription in them. If you have a prescription, please contact us by email to get a free consultation about your special case.

How long does it take to ship glasses after a purchase?

Generally we like to process an order within one business day, sometimes more, sometimes less. We are very careful in the handling of all orders.
