Note: this is a crochet pattern to make the blanket and headband, not the actual items.
Who says blue is just for boys?
If you like the popular corner to corner blanket, you’ll love this Granny corner to corner! You work this in the same way, but in the beloved granny stitch....from corner to corner.
So sweet with Paintbox DK (3) yarn, but you can use any weight yarn you like in any colorway you like.
The iron on applique, by Patch Mommy, from Joan Fabrics (in the USA), really makes it cute and the crocheted “tree branch” makes it really, really cute. Instructions are in American and UK terms.
Deceptively simple pattern with spectacular results!
Great beginner project and equally fun for the more experienced one.
