This listing is for one small 80 mesh sifter in the new, improved style!

FYI - The mesh size does NOT need to match the frit of the enamel.  Thompson enamel is generally sold in 80 mesh frit (ground glass particles).  80 mesh frit has a fine sugar consistency.  A standard sifter (40 mesh) works well with 80 mesh enamel and allows a maximum amount of particles to go through the screen.  An 80 mesh sifter simply sifts out fewer and finer particles.

You will receive a lightweight plastic sifter with a twisted steel wire handle - 80 mesh - Small (1/2 dia. x 1/2 d.)

The third photo shows a small, medium and large sifter.

Eventually, we will offer all three sizes with different mesh screens in this new, improved style. These have mesh that is attached on the inside of the sifter with no rough wire edges and also a label on the outside that tells you what the mesh size is.
