Gryphon Earrings:
Gryffons have been known throughout the world for millennia; legendary creatures with the forequarters, talons and wings of an eagle and the hindquarters of a lion. Known to represent both intelligence and strength during the Medieval and Renaissance eras, they have been used frequently in heraldic art and architecture throughout the centuries. These boldly elegant earrings are created from antiqued brass and adorned with brilliantly colored, oval cabochons in Preciosa (c) Crystal in your choice of color. A tiny, pronged drop swings below.
Available in antiqued silver and antiqued brass finishes, and your choice color and hook. French earring hooks will arrive complete with clear rubber backs to provide a secure fit when worn. View drop down boxes for complete list of options.
SIZE with hook: 2.75" (6.75cm)

This made-to-order earring design will be ready to ship in approximately 1 week.
* All antiqued brass items are nickel free. All antiqued silver items are nickel free sterling silver plating over nickel free brass.

NOTE TO MY LOVELY INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS ABOUT CUSTOMS: Please check with your country's custom office policies -- many countries charge a customs fee for merchandise purchased outside of the home country, and the thresholds vary for each country. Rabbitwood & Reason cares about the environment!
A large, ductless fume hood (the same style used in professional science labs) is used inside the studio for paint and adhesive work which filters the air into clean, fresh air which is then recycled back into the studio instead of directing toxic chemicals through a pipe out into the environment. All of the packaging for Rabbitwood & Reason is 100% recycled; paper, jewelry boxes, tissue paper, shipping envelopes, bubble wrap, etc. I do not wish to contribute to the loss of our natural resources but serve as a means to celebrate nature.
