Here is a selection of my new series of beautiful stone pendant necklaces...simple and a bit boho..they showcase the beauty of nature and also the talent of the glass bead-makers out there. This listing is for one only (but you can have more if you wish!) - Simply chose the necklace you want and pop it into your basket. The pendants are numbered in the last photograph and described below.
In each case, I have selected a gorgeous pendant bead and paired it with a wonderful glass bead, made by talented people from all over the United States and Europe. They are all simply strung on narrow leather thong, knotted, and slip over your head. I wanted to leave them long - they hang about mid-chest, but can be knotted again if you wish to wear them shorter.
Each is a one-off, as the natural stones are all different...and so are the glass beads.
No. 1 is Picasso Jasper in a lovely soft beige colour, with striking lines of darker brown across it. It is in a neat triangle shape, rounded on the front and flat on the back. It is paired with a lovely, ribbed glass bead made of amethyst coloured glass with purple and mustard frit splashes on it. The stone is 32 mm by 27 mm and the bead about 12 mm round. The leather is dark brown 1 mm thong.
No. 2 has been sold and is no longer available.
No. 3 is Carnelian. This lovely, tactile stone is predominately white, with the characteristic orange of agate showing. It is rounded on both sides, I have paired this stone with a special bead that contains a beautiful, orange lotus flower. The leather here is 1 mm burnt orange round thong. The pendant measures 48 mm by 23 mm. The bead is 15 mm.
No. 4 is Crazy Lace Agate. It is a cloudy grey colour with a fantastic band of orangey-yellow stripes across it. It is rounded on the front and has a flat back. The bead I chose for this stone is a pretty light yellow colour with splashes of darker orange through it. The stone measures 35 mm tall by 25 mm across the bottom. It is strung on 1 mm gold coloured leather thong.
No. 5 is Moss Agate. This is a fascinating stone, with moss-like inclusions running through it. This particular piece is partly white and partly grey in appearance, but the grey is, in fact, brown when held up to the light. I love the pattern on the stone where the two colours meet. The stone is rounded on the front and flat on the back. It is paired with an encased glass bead which has a mix of grey and yellow glass inside. The pendant is 38 mm long by 26 mm. It is hung on 1 mm white round leather thong.
