How do I upload Files to Cricut Design Space?

1. Extract the SVG from your zipped download (double click on a Mac, or right click and select Extract All on a PC), and save it in a convenient location. 2. Open Cricut Design Space, and select the blue “Create New Project” button, or click File, New. 3. Click the Upload Images button on the left vertical panel. 4. Click the blue Upload Image button on the next screen. 5. Click the blue Browse button, and select the SVG file you have saved.

How do I upload files to Silhouette Studio?

1. Check which version of Studio you have. If you have the free version that came with your machine, this is the Basic Edition, and you must use the DXF files. If you have paid to upgrade, you have the Designer Edition, and you must use the SVG files. 2. Open Silhouette Studio, and select File, Import, Import to Library from the top menu. 3. Navigate to the location where you saved your files, and select the file. 4. Your Library will open, and Studio will automatically place the file in your My Own Designs folder. 5. Open the file by double clicking the thumbnail image in your Library. To access the file in the future, select File, Library from the top menu bar. You will see the file in your My Own Designs folder.

Do your JPG and PNG files come in a mirrored version for printing on transfer paper?

Due to upload size restrictions and the size of all of the other files in the listing, I do *not* provide mirrored JPEG or PNG files. Instead, you can easily flip them once you have opened them in the default software in either your Mac or PC as follows: Mirror in Mac: 1. Double click on the JPEG or PNG file to open the image in Preview. 2. Click Tools on the top menu, and select Flip Horizontal. You can now either save this new version, or send directly to your printer. Mirror in PC: 1. Right click on the JPEG or PNG file, select Open With, and select Paint. 2. Click Image on the top menu, click Flip/Rotate, and select Flip Horizontal. You can now either save this new version, or send directly to your printer.

Why does my SVG file show up as a black blob on Silhouette Studio Designer Edition?

This can happen when you have the program set to merge the layers. Simply right click, and ungroup the image. Then you will be able to access all of the layers and recolor them as needed.

I don't see my SVG file, but I do see an Internet Explorer/Safari/Google Crome Icon. Is this the SVG file?

If your computer isn't familiar with SVG files and doesn't have a program that natively opens them, it may designate the file as a Internet Explorer/Safari/Google Crome Icon. Not to worry, it is indeed a SVG. Just load it to your cutting software as you normally would. Never just double click on your file to open it in your cutting program - you must actually go into your cutting software and open the file and the software recommends.

How to open a .ZIP file on PC: 1. To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location. OR 2. To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions. To to open a .ZIP file on MAC: 1. Double click the zipped file. 2. The file will automatically be decompressed by Archive Utility into the same folder the compressed file is in. 3. Access the extracted files by clicking the appropriate icons.
