The L Series
Sky / Solitary

Loni is part of unique series of five which was a complete joy to create.

Loni is a One of a Kind Art Doll made completely by me. She was sculpted from stone clay over a hand built aluminum wire armature which I built. The armature is spiral in form which allows the doll to be bent in all directions if necessary.

I painted her with acrylics and used matte varnish for a sealer. Her eyes are acrylic. I used beautiful red/auburn alpaca suri locks for the hair.

The clothes were hand stitched and draped without the use of patterns. The fabrics are from India.

Loni is 9 inches in height including the base. The base is a hand painted and measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches

No molds or pattern were used. All my dolls are one of a kind and will never be reproduced.
