A helpful trick to keep your mini adventure jewelry's bold & shiny appearance:

Although each piece uses a specific patina to create the dark filled lines on each charm design, there is a quick alternative that will re-darken the lines quickly and efficiently. Over time your jewelry may fade while being exposed to water & chemicals such as lotion. All you will need is a black sharpie marker and a jewelry polishing cloth. Both of these items can be found at any local craft store. Trace in the stamped design with the black sharpie marker, then wipe off excess with a polishing cloth. Your mini jewelry will return to its bold & shiny appearance quickly & safely.

My turnaround for processing an order is typically one business day. I ship via USPS first-class mail, which typically takes:

Each piece of jewelry is not only carefully wrapped in individual Barlow Jewels drawstring cotton bags but also packaged in a poly-fill jewelry box, adding an extra layer of charm and protection.

If you choose to include a gift message with your order your message will be printed and attached to your jewelry box -- ready for your recipient to open and cherish!

I only use metals of high quality — 14k gold fill or sterling silver. Both of which are hypoallergenic and nickel-free.

STERLING SILVER:
Sterling silver is most commonly used when creating long-lasting silver jewelry. It is suggested to keep your sterling silver necklace in a cool, dry place. Sterling can oxidize with time. If your piece is to tarnish, it can be easily restored by simply using a polishing cloth.

14k GOLD-FILL & ROSE GOLD-FILL:
Gold fill is a high-quality, affordable alternative to solid gold. The process of creating a gold-fill piece involves taking a thick layer (100x thicker than gold plating) of gold and bonding it to a (nickel and alloy-free) base metal. Gold fill is durable, safe for sensitive skin, and economical

All fine metals tarnish with time. Regardless of your lifestyle and the care you take when wearing your jewelry, it will benefit from regular cleanings. My jewelry is meant for everyday wear and created to last. After every few wears, I suggest taking a polishing cloth to your piece to keep it nice and shiny. My favorite brand of polishing cloths is Sunshine. These cloths do a great job of removing oils, lotions, makeup, etc., and help maintain and restore shine.

If you aren’t fully in love with your Barlow Jewels piece I happily take returns/exchanges! Please contact me within 7 days of receiving your jewelry and ship items back within 14 days of the original delivery date.

REPAIRS:
All pieces are delicate, so please handle with care. Should anything happen to your jewelry, I offer repairs within 90 days of your purchase. Just message me and we can get a repair started!

CONDITIONS OF A RETURN, EXCHANGE, OR REPAIR:
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Please make sure your jewelry is secured in the packaging upon returning to make sure no jewelry escapes during transit as this has happened a few times! Thank you!

Once your order is shipped, it is in the hands of the United States Postal Service. If you suspect your package may be lost in transit, please get in contact with neighbors who may have accidentally received your order along with your local Post Office first as they can best assist you in recovering your lost package.

If you are still not able to resolve this matter after getting in touch with USPS, please contact me and I’d be happy to assist further!

I try my best to create your pieces and drop them off with USPS as soon as possible. If you find that you accidentally used the wrong shipping address, please message me immediately as I may be able to get that address switched out for you before drop-off.

If you catch me after I have already dropped your order off with USPS, we will need to either wait for your order to be delivered back to me and I can then re-ship your order (this will include a $4.50 re-ship fee), or you can place a new order and when the original order gets delivered back to me I can then issue a refund for it.
