All of the products made by Mem's Memories are handmade and custom made using your clothing. No two Keepsake Memory Animals are alike!

--> If you would like an embroidered message with name and birthdate, I charge an extra $5, any other message containing up to 10 words max is $10. When ordering your Keepsake Memory Animal, please select "custom embroidery" and when you purchase your item, in the note to seller please tell me what you would like embroidered.

Every order requires you to ship me your clothing unless you are buying locally and would like to meet up to swap clothing. When you place your order, I will send you an address in a private message letting you know where you can ship your clothing to.

Anyone living in the Worcester, Massachusetts area is welcome to set up a time and place to meet with me to give me the clothing you would like to use for your Keepsake Memory Animal. Please order through "Request a Custom Order" and I will set up a private listing for you. This will sve you on shipping!

It depends. Some Keepsake Memory Animals require more fabric than others. The general rule of thumb is at least:

4- 5 preemie or 0-3 month outfits
3-4 3-6 month outfits
1 medium to large adult shirt
2 recieving blankets

I can also make your Keepsake Memory Animal out of blankets- T-shirts, dresses, etc.

The best fabrics for a Keepsake Memory Animal are cotton, jersey, or fleece. I try to stay away from silky and sheer fabrics because they do not stretch appropriately to make the Keepsake Memory Animal.

I will send back any fabric, other than small scraps, that I do not use. Please do not send too much extra fabric, otherwise I will have to charge extra for shipping.

Once I receive your fabric, I will send you a message letting you know that it arrived safely. From the day I receive your fabric, please allow 12/14 weeks for me to make your order.

For the safety of your little ones, I try to stay away from buttons, tassels, anything that could be considered dangerous or a hazard. I will add embellishments, at your request, however, Mem's Memories is not responsible for any issues that the embellishments may cause. At times, I may use a spot of non-toxic fabric glue to help hold down bows or ribbons.
