Can I have my sign personalized?

Personalization is definitely possible! Send me a message with the details of what item you want personalized and how you would like it personalized.

Can I get a custom piece made?

Inquiries regarding custom pieces are welcomed. Simply send me a message describing in detail what you would like and we can discuss the options.

Can I get an item sooner than the advertised estimate?

Rush production can sometimes be offered. Send me a message including the date that you need the item by and your shipping zip code. This information helps me determine if it is possible to make an item and get it shipped to you in time.

Do you offer any discounts?

I do not offer any special discounts other than what may be advertised already. Each piece is individually made by hand and not mass produced. However, shipping is cheaper per item the more items you purchase. I will always bundle multiple-item-orders and refund any shipping overages when possible.

Can I change the shipping address after I've placed an order?

This depends. The shipping costs are based on the address provided when you place your order. If the new address is a location that results in a higher shipping cost, then the order will need to be placed again using the correct address.

My order already shipped, but the address was wrong. Now what?

This is a bummer! Each item is a custom piece and, likely, cannot be resold. Because of this, we will have to wait for the package to be returned and a shipping cost will need to be paid. Even if your order was free shipping eligible, additional shipping costs will need to be paid before your order is re-shipped. This applies if a package is returned for any reason.

What happens if my item is damaged or incorrect?

No problem! Please notify me within three days of receiving your order and include a picture of the mistake and I will work on creating a replacement piece for you right away.

THE WOOD
All signs are made of 100% natural solid wood. I select, cut and sand each piece of wood. Each piece is different with its own knots, rings and other “imperfections”. This may include small divots and cracks, especially around knots. Therefore, every piece offers its own unique beauty and character.

Because I use natural wood, knot “bleed through” can occasionally occur. This is when a brownish/yellowish discoloring happens through paint directly above a wood knot due to the resin that naturally occurs in knots. This occurrence is unpredictable and not reliably preventable. If “bleed through” does occur, then it just adds to the rustic nature of the piece!

STAIN
The wood is stained (front, back and sides). Because each piece of wood is truly unique, stain colors can vary slightly than what is seen in the stain example image and may come out slightly lighter or slightly darker than the example.

PAINT
This signs comes with painted text. You can see the brush strokes in the paint and the wood underneath will slightly show through in some places. All painted areas contain two coats of paint for the truest color and better longevity. All signs are made to order.

***It is up to YOU to pick a color combination you will enjoy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - only you know what colors you will like! If you want the paint colors to "pop", then select colors that will have a high contrast. If you prefer a subtle difference, then pick colors with a low contrast. If you need help, then send a message with the colors you are interested in and I'll do my best to find an example.
