This doormat is made of coir - a natural resource made of coconut fibers. These fibers are stiff, great for removing dirt off your shoes, however do not do their best when left uncovered and exposed to the rain as the fibers soak up moisture and darken. Covered entry ways preferred!

Each mat weighs about 5 pounds and measure 30x18 inches. To clean, either give it a shake or run under a vacuum.

The mats love shady, dry environments. I recommend a covered entrance or garage. Fibers in mats that sit in moisture will darken and not look the same as when you received it.
Also, the more friends you have, the faster your mat may wear.

We walk a fine line between patio decor and shoe cleaning station here, ya know?

Don't forget that while each mat is durable and effective, it's also a decor piece and will last longer with some TLC.

Shedding is normal for first month of use.
