This is an opportunity for you to own an original vintage print rescued from a disbound Vargas publication. The series comprised many lovely examples of Vargas' work from the 1920's to the 1950's. Alberto Vargas devoted his life to celebrating the beauty of American women with his ethereal paintings of voluptuous bodies and delicate faces. Arthur Paul, art director of Playboy said of Vargas "When looking at his work, one can't help but sense his search for perfection in this imperfect world".
Date Published: c 1990 - this is a genuine vintage print NOT A REPRODUCTION and is more than 25 years old.
Print size: 8 3/4 inches x 11 3/4 inches
The condition of the book plate is excellent; images or text on the reverse do not show through and it is printed on fine quality glossy paper.
