As pictured, the sword comes in some of the most game-accurate detailing I've yet to see affordably on the market. The stainless steel blade dulled at the edges to prevent any mishaps whilst mowing weeds for rupees. Each blade, colorization and finish will be slightly different from the next due to these being hand painted, so expect subtle differences and minimal imperfections. Things such as dark marks inside the triforce are to be expected as it is burned in with a laser engraved. I strive to perfect my work, and in doing so I aim to finalize a beautiful product. In this sense, please be careful with these blades, they are NOT meant for dueling. Misuse and abuse should be avoided at all costs to keep these looking brilliant! Noting these materials and low costs, these are collectors pieces meant to be displayed indoors only and are not weatherproof.
Each Master Sword will be hand-painted and made-to-order as I don’t keep these readily-made and in stock. My source materials for the blade arrive from as soon as orders are placed, my main focus sets into getting a handle reinforced and looking beautiful for the blade, and then work will begin on finishing and polishing your Master Sword up once that is finished. Please don't hesitate to message me about custom requests for colors or any modifications you may want. Although I used a mixture of tinted purples and blues and greens to bring out the accuracy as well as a neon green and blue for the handle and a gold shimmer for the detailing, I am happy to work with custom color requests. My mission is to make your cosplay and collection as brilliant as we can possibly make it. Unlike other sellers I've come across, I will not be sloppy with my craftsmanship. You will not get some cheaply-painted and uneven replica. My main focus is painting, weathering and glamorous finishes. While you cannot expect perfection, this will be crafted to the closest possible degree I can manage. I am extremely careful with my painting techniques, but am human and no hand-painted art is ever 100% perfect.
These are heavy steel. These aren't the foam, wood, or plastic toys other sellers are offering here. Please do not strike things with them!
These swords are not associated with or licensed by Nintendo, these are fan art at best.
A NOTE ON PRODUCTION TIMES: Typically the production time will not take as long as listed, but this all depends on order volumes, weather patterns and things like rain and humidity. I use a variety of different sun-baking and cooling techniques to get the metallic and iodized effect shown as pictured and want every piece to turn out perfect and have the appropriate time and conditions to set and cure. I will take as long in production as needed to be sure that EACH sword has the appropriate time to let its paint set and cure. Please feel free to ask for updates on your piece as we go!
**INTERNATIONAL ORDERS!**: As a buyer, YOU are responsible for knowing your country's import and customs rules and regulations. I will not be liable and refunds will not be issued on orders returned to me from countries that may have regulations against swords being shipped in for any reason. If customs officers reject the package for any reason, you are liable for original shipping charges and will not receive a full refund. At best, if the package arrives back and the sword is in pristine condition I will be able to issue a partial refund minus shipping. If you have doubts about your country, contact your postal systems and figure it out before purchasing. NO international orders will qualify for a refund due to buyers not knowing their customs rules or any customs rejections happening beyond my control. I have had very few problem countries and want to continue allowing these for international purchase, but please be aware of the low but possible risks. So far, every sword that has come back to me has gone through fine the second time being shipped out.
SHEATHS INFO: I have a seperate listing for sheaths if you want detailed photos, and I’m copying the description here so you know what you’re buying.
We’re very pleased to introduce the first round of brilliantly-crafted Hylian Sheaths made specifically to fit our Master Sword variants here at Astoria Workshop.
These leather sheaths are hand-stitched and feature some of the intricate design work printed in a deep, vibrant gold over a royal blue leather base. Perfect for cosplayers looking to take these swords to cons without your piece getting flagged for being exposed, while also serving as a great display counterpart to display next to your existing Astoria Master Sword. Now you can get all of the nice detailing of the Hylian Sheath, at a fraction of the cost of a 3D-printed or metal sheath, and you won’t have to worry about pieces breaking on your sheath or doing any assembly/paint work.
Word of caution! Please use these with care. My Master Swords are hand-painted, and as with any painted prop weighing this much, when you start to slide it in and out of things and carry its full weight around, you should expect minor markings to eventually be left on your far edges where the sheath slides across the sword handle. I’ve noticed specifically I would get a pin-point scuff mark on the corners of my gold blade guards when I used mine regularly. This is entirely unavoidable, and the markings will be very minor, but just a forewarning to expect them if you use this sheath and carry your sword around a lot. Props see pinpoint markings and natural weathering over time and with use, just like the real Master Sword would if Link was carrying it around in real life and constantly sliding it in and out of a sheath 😅 fret not though, as I can point you to the specific gold
modeling paint that can be used for touch-ups on those with no expertise whatsoever, should you want to correct any weathering marks. I touch mine up every few months anyway to add some sheen to it, as shiny paints tend to lose some of their luster over time.
Thank you for your interest, and welcome to Astoria Workshop!
