This unique hand made turquoise glass dish is made of turquoise and vanilla fused glass pieces interleaved with silver foil. This is a large rectangular glass bowl in a series of pieces using turquoise and vanilla glass with silver foil. I have also made a large square turquoise bowl and a smaller square bowl in the same style.

Each fused glass bowl is made from individually hand cut pieces of glass. These are assembled into an original design and fired in my kiln at home. This dish is made up of squares and rectangles of opal turquoise and vanilla streaky glass with stunning reactive silver accents. After the initial firing to fuse the layers together the dish is fired again in the kiln using a ceramic mould to create the bowl shape.

The glass bowl measures 19cm by 38cm (8"x15") and the glass is 6mm thick. The bowl has been annealed as part of the firing process for maximum strength.
