All rings are made to size. If the ring you ordered does not fit, I will resize it for you at no additional cost, but you'll have to pay for the shipping.

Custom and personalised orders

I'll be happy to create a custom item for you. I usually do it as follows: First, I create a sketch according to your description. That's free of charge. I'll also give you a price quote according to the materials (metal, stones) of your choice, and whether your design is to stay OOAK or am I allowed to produce copies. Then, if you like it and want it produced, I'll require a down payment (usually 25-50% of the full price). After that I'll create your item (you can receive work-in-progress photos if you want to). After you receive a photo of the finished item, you'll pay the rest of the price and I'll ship it to you. The whole process can take two-three months.

Sterling silver (925) may tarnish, so I send a special polishing cloth with every shipping. If your item lost its shine or developed unwanted patina - just rub it with the polishing cloth to make it shiny again.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are shipped in jewelry boxes. If you want something special, like a message, added to a gift, please let me know.

This Mermaid Ring is a moonstone ring. It is inspired by the best jewelry in Art Nouveau style. This fairy tale ring features a sleeping Mermaid that holds a little treasure - a semiprecious stone.

Mermaids exist in folklore and fairy tales all over the world. They are said to be extremely attractive and sing lovely songs. They are the spirits of the seas and rivers and have many names: undines, rusalkas, naiads. They are the elementals of water and therefore are connected to the emotional and irrational part of human nature.

My Mermaid is a lovely maiden that rests peacefully on your finger cradling a beautiful stone in her hand.

The Mermaid ring was first carved in wax. A live model (a friend of mine) has posed to me so I can get the posture just right.

The ring was cast in sterling silver, polished and covered with patina to make all the fine details stand out.

The lower part of the shank is very thin, so this ring will fit comfortably.
The upper part (the body of the Mermaid) is hollowed, so the ring is relatively light.
