Tarnishing is a common occurrence in many chains, especially those that are plated. The only types of chain that will not tarnish are gold-fill and sterling silver (silver does tarnish, but it can be easily cleaned off). Our stainless steel never tarnishes as it is not plated, further ensuring its durability. The longevity of the chain's quality depends on how the chain is worn and the maintenance of it. The chain will tarnish, but depending on how well it is handled, the original quality can last from one day to even a year. Electroplated chains tarnish rapidly under both hot and humid conditions. Any moisture (e.g. water, sweat) will further the oxidation process. If this is a major concern, please not purchase plated chain/findings.

The link size of the chain/material size of findings stated on listings only refers to the width and length; it is not an exact number. At the time of manufacturing, the metric system uniformly sized items. Every inch unit is an estimate of the Int'l Standard Unit, mm. Return and Exchange Policy

The item has not been altered in any way and is still in the original state it was sent, we will gladly refund or exchange it for you. The buyer must contact me and ship the item back within 14 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. The buyer is responsible for loss in value (as agreed upon with the seller) if an item isn’t returned in its original condition. In the package, please include your order sheet or an equivalent note with your Order Number. Once it arrives at our facility, we will examine the contents, checking count/length/alterations/etc, and contact you again via Etsy Convo. There is a 15% restocking of Order item(s). Please note that store credit expires within one year after return is accepted.

Return and Exchange Policy

Please note that if returning an item in an order makes the total purchase less than $35 and makes the order ineligible for free shipping, we deduct the shipping cost from the store credit or refund. If you happen to receive an item that appears to have a defect due to an error on our end, please send us a picture for verification. We'll gladly provide a return label to facilitate the process. Once the item is returned to us we will do a proper inspection. If the item is not eligible for a refund, the cost of the return label will be deducted from the original purchase amount.
