Custom and personalized orders

I do not offer custom or personalized orders. These items are vintage & antique and are not further modified unless the listing indicates otherwise.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not offer gift wrapping or gift packaging; however, at your request, I will include a gift receipt that does not show cost information in case your order is being directly shipped to a gift recipient. Also at your request, I will include your personalized message on the gift receipt. Please include appropriate instructions with your order.

Insurance coverage for loss or damage

Most items are shipped with insurance coverage from the United States Postal Service (USPS). In the event of loss or damage on an order and you wish to be reimbursed, you must file a claim with USPS. Please let me know if you need to file a claim and I will send you a copy of the receipt for proof of mailing, which is one of the items you will need to successfully file a claim. For more information, please visit https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm. I do not offer refunds on orders lost or damaged during shipment.

No added costs a.k.a. "free shipping" on most orders

Most items in the shop don't have additional shipping charges at checkout. Easy, convenient, no-hassle checkout with no unpleasant surprises or price gouging. Most items also ship USPS Priority so you receive your order faster.

With few exceptions, I sell vintage items that have been personally owned by me or close family members. Sometimes maybe a few close friends. I am not an expert and I identify items to the best of my knowledge and opinion. All items are described to the best of my knowledge and in my opinion. I disclose apparent defects or damage to the best of my knowledge and in my opinion. If an item has been rated by an expert, the listing will indicate it.

I personally photograph every item for sale and strive to present the most accurate representation possible within my photographic skills. While I am not a professional photographer, I do my best to capture each item faithfully. Whenever possible, I include images highlighting significant defects or damage. In some cases, lighting techniques are used intentionally to make these flaws more visible. Due Etsy's limit of 10 photos, I carefully select the images that best convey the item's overall appearance and condition. Variations in screen settings and devices may affect how colors appear, so the photos may not perfectly match the actual item's color. I sometimes use AI to stage items when I’m unable to do so myself.

All items are sold as-is. No warranties or guarantees of any kind, expressed or implied, are offered. Buyers are responsible for providing a correct shipping address. Misdirected or undeliverable shipments because of an incorrect address will not be refunded or re-shipped. PROP SHOPS, MOVIE, AND SHOW SETS: Need it pronto? Send me a request for expedited processing and include your FedEx or UPS account number.

I sometimes randomly include a free gift with your purchase. While this doesn't happen often, I may periodically include free items that relate to your purchase. For example, if you purchase earrings, I may include a free set of earrings that are similar in styling or color. Again, this is random and is a rare occurrence, but it does sometimes happens and I hope the lucky recipients enjoy the surprises.

Dimensions of items are typically provided. For clothing items, sizes are provided - if available - and dimensions are provided. Sizing is also provided for jewelry items, including rings. No returns, refunds, or exchanges are offered for items that do not fit.

I generally don't provide care instructions, but I may sometimes make recommendations. I am not responsible for any damage or breakage that may occur due to following or not following these recommendations. Recommendations are provided as a courtesy only.

Highlights

Handpicked by CoolAgainVintage
Vintage from the 1910s
Materials: silver, copper

This is an antique 1918 King George V 25 cent coin from Canada. Sources indicate that Canada minted 4,175,649 of these coins. This coin has seen a lot of mileage but is quite beautiful.

KEY FEATURES
Designer: Obverse: Sir E. B. MacKennal, Reverse: L. C. Wyon, W. H. J. Blackemore. Original weight of these coins was 5.83 grams. Composition of these coins are 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Approximate diameter: 23.62 mm. Reeded edge.

PROVENANCE AND INFORMATION
This comes from my personal collection. My grandfather got me interested in collecting coins but it's a hobby I never completely got into. I have amassed a myriad of coins during my childhood and teen years and am now downsizing my collection. This is a coin originally found with assorted other coins in an old fishing reel box that was found in the attic of a relative. Knowing that I used to collect coins, the box was given to me; however, since I'm no longer actively collecting, other coin collectors and numismatists may now benefit.

The coin is in the condition in which it was found. I have not cleaned it in any way. To protect the coin, I placed it in the cardboard and Mylar coin flip you see in the photographs. Higher-resolution photographs than what I typically post are included here so that you may better see and judge the quality of the coin for yourself.

Purchase for yourself or give as a gift.

PURCHASE WITH CONFIDENCE
Thousands of sales. Hundreds of five star ratings. Well-loved items that last for more than one lifetime. Some items from the shop have been purchased for use as props in television commercials, major network & streaming shows, major motion pictures, interior design photo shoots, and restaurant décor. Items have also been purchased by interior designers, architects, lawyers, doctors, and celebrities. Still more items have been gifts to major studio actors and production crew members. And my favorite, several items from the shop have been purchased to replace lost, stolen, or broken treasures. When you buy from Cool Again Vintage, you’re buying something special from someone you can trust.
