This personalized bordered tree puzzle guest book is a unique, thoughtful and exciting way to involve guests at any event. Whether it is a wedding, baby shower, birthday, bar mitzvah, or fundraiser, guests will love leaving a note that you will cherish for a lifetime. Display in your home (framed) or challenge yourself to put it back together years down the road.

These are big puzzles! They all contain large pieces; allowing plenty of space for guests to write on. You can choose between the 25 piece, 50 piece, 75 piece, 100 piece, 150 piece puzzle and 200 piece puzzles. All puzzles are cut from quality quarter inch maple plywood. The center heart piece will be finished with an extra (secret) step to make the text pop.

-The 25 piece tree puzzle is approximately 17 inches wide and 15 inches tall.
-The 50 piece tree puzzle is approximately 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall.
-The 75 piece tree puzzle is approximately 23 inches wide and 19 inches tall.
-The 100 piece tree puzzle is approximately 24 inches wide and 20 inches tall.
-The 150 piece tree puzzle is approximately 26 inches wide and 23 inches tall.
-The 200 piece tree puzzle is approximately 29 inches wide and 24 inches tall.

**To select your font preference, refer to the gallery image that includes several font options and select the corresponding letter from the drop-down menu (ex. “C”). Don’t see what you’re looking for? You can select “Other” if you have a font in mind and it is free to download. Just be sure to leave the link where I can download it in the notes section during checkout. A selection of free fonts can be found at fonts.google.com and dafont.com.

**When placing an order please include the following details in the notes/text area at checkout:

-Specify the text you want within the heart. For example “JL + LL” or “Sara (heart) Brad” or “Mr. & Mrs. Avery Est. 7-10-16”
-Anything written in parenthesis will be considered a symbol or icon
-Or, ask us to leave it plain if you would like to decorate it on your own.

-This style has a puzzle trunk with a stained dark heart and the puzzle border has a dark colored finish. The border is the piece of wood that the puzzle is framed in. Please choose if you would like your puzzle without a border, or if you would like us to add a border. Without a border, you will only receive the puzzle pieces.

We get asked this all the time. We suggest just a regular bic pen; it allows fine detail without risk of bleeding. Regular sharpies often bleed, but sometimes don't. Fine tip sharpies rarely bleed but sometimes do. It all depends on your climate. We include a blank piece of wood for you to test different pens on with every guest book order. Test different pens and see which will work for you in your climate.

Before hanging your puzzle on the wall, you obviously have to secure the pieces in place first. For a non-permanent bond, you can use tacky putty or double sticky tape. For a permanent bond, wood glue works great. All you need is a small dab for each piece, and be careful not to get any on the face of the pieces or the border.

Another option is to use a clear coat finish. This can really make the piece pop. A clear coat polyurethane works great. BE SURE TO TEST IT ON A BLANK PIECE FIRST. You need to make sure it won't make the ink bleed. If the ink has had a good amount of time to dry, this shouldn't be an issue. Follow the instructions on the can of your finish. Often 2 or 3 layers is needed with light sanding in between.

This guest book was fabulous! All the guests raved about how unique and gorgeous this was. It was the perfect way to capture guest sentiments for my aunt and uncles 90th bday party. The quality was excellent. The wood was strong, thick, and durable. The engraving was beautiful.
