ART DECO PRINT ON A BURGUNDY RED GROUND, COTTON, PANTS AND SLEEVELESS TOP....WHICH CAME OFF A KAMKINS DOLL AND IS FROM THE ERA AND ANTIQUE SUITABLE FOR THE LOUISE R. KAMPES "KAMKINS" DOLL FROM HER EARLY PERIOD 1915-1925

THE OUTFIT IS TRIMMED IN BLUE TIES AND EDGING AROUND THE ARM HOLES. OUTLINING THE OUTFIT AND HIGHLIGHTING IT....

THE TIES HAVE WHITE TOP-STITCHING.

THIS WAS MOST PROBABLY MADE FOR THE KAMKINS DOLL BY LOUISE R KAMPES OR A HOME PROFESSIONAL.....BUT LOOKS WELL ON ANY OTHER KIND OF DOLL. IN ANY CASE, IT'S BEAUTIFULLY CONSTRUCTED AND VERY PRETTY ON A KAMKINS DOLL. THIS IS AN ANTIQUE AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

PANT IS 9.5 INCHES LONG AND A BIT OLD ELASTIC WAIST, 5.5 WHEN FLAT (11 INCHES ROUND)...MAY NEED A NEW WAY TO HAVE IT TIGHT AROUND THE WAIST OF A KAMKINS, PERHAPS NEW ELASTIC,....



This is an authentic piece of the genuine antique circa 1910s - 1920s clothing and it very nice on the many small-sized dolls including Jumeaus, SFBJ dolls and others. Suited to a serious doll collector who wants the best of the best in their authentic FASHION DOLL wardrobe. This came off of a KAMKINS cloth doll, and we believe it was made by that artist Louise Kampes, for the dolls she created.
