This silver necklace is created by mixing your pet's ashes into the actual silver, and also shows an optional "viewing pane" in the shape of a star (see last two photos). The "viewing pane" is a star cut out of the metal, and then filled with more ash and a clear resin. This design requires very little ash.

UPDATE 1/30/23: All keepsake items that require a shipment *from* customers will now automatically include a collection kit if purchased on Etsy. Prices have been changed to reflect this. In the event of having left over ashes, you may choose whether you would like them returned to you with the pendant or scattered in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC.. a place I am honored to call home. At my client's requests, I have taken ashes onto kayaking or hiking trips and respectfully scattered them among the beautiful scenery. I created my very first cremation pendant several years ago using my own father's ashes through a process I developed myself. I wear it daily, and it brings me great comfort. I feel very honored to be able to offer others this comfort after suffering from pet loss and promise to treat your packages with as much respect as I did my own.

The pendant is sterling silver and measures approximately 1.04" across. Please choose from an assortment of antiqued chains in the drop down. Pendant comes with an antiqued/brushed finish. If you notice in the pictures, the consistency and color of your cremations give the silver a coarse look and the appearance of the viewing pane will differ from one order to the next based on this color/consistency.
