In most cases wood is air dried with some mix of kiln drying wood. This combination is excellent to protect final creation from natural damage like cracking.

In this example there are some special resin fill in areas which are also mixed with luminescence turquoise powder. This mix is glowing in the dark - subtle evening turquoise color is shining for about 10 hours.

Finishing is very important for long lasting wood tables I create. I use proven natural finishing oils like tung or danish oil sometimes mixed with waxes. For some projects I used finishing special technique of applying oil and lacquer. Oils bring up color, grain and structure while lacquer protects the surface from damage like heat, scratches, liquids (coffee, alcohol).

-Base made of stainless steel, polished to glossy mirror with attached stabilizing round stands
-Dimensions: 120 cm x 60 cm x 50 cm
-Table top made of walnut, 5 cm thick
-Finished with tung oil, protected with two-component protective lacquer
-Thanks to UV filter lacquer prevents colors to fade
-Cracks, knots and holes are filled with glowing in the dark photoluminescent turquoise pigment
-Wood was dried outdoor and in a kiln
-Used materials are eco-friendly
-Lacquer used for kitchen furniture and sanitary ware

Looks nothing like the picture. They shipped the package over a month past the shipment date. I get that covid has made a mess out of everything but I’m sad that it looked nothing like the picture There’s not nearly as much peppers as in the picture. In the pic it looks like there’s cherry peppers in the cutting board but there’s not. Don’t post pictures of it if there’s none in the cutting board. I feel gypped
