Antique 10k Gold Pink Angel Skin Conch Nouveau Lady Cameo Pin Pendant Victorian
Offered here is an antique Victorian Cameo featured in a very pale pink angel skin color conch shell, in a 10K gold bezel set, engraved mount, in it's original, silk lined jewelry box.
True to the name, the pink surface is soft, and divine in appearance. The woman is looking to the right, her Art Nouveau profile is captured with minute carved features in relief, her wild hair pulled back, wisps of it flowing and curling down her back. Set onto a 10 karat gold mount with a decorative roped band lining the rim, brooch on back. She is a classical beauty, only fitting for this very high quality Victorian bijoux.
Item is in very good condition with a slight patina to the rim of the gold. During the Victorian era gold was mixed. Therefore, we can never be sure the actual Karat weight.
Cameo with 10k setting measures 1 13/4" high x 1 1/2" x 1/4" thick. Cameo itself measures 1 1/2"long, 1 1/4" wide.
Weighs: 13.3gr.
