Custom Personalized Silver Birthstone Tree Necklace - Honor your family with this beautiful and unique birthstone tree necklace. This tree pendant is handmade using fine silver metal clay and 3mm cubic zirconia or lab created gemstones. I have used my own artwork to design the tree, then I add a subtle texture to the background. Each birthstone is secured in a handmade bezel setting, which is then fired in place on the tree so it is permanently attached to the pendant. I can fit up to 8 birthstones on this pendant (although, you won't see the textured background at all with this many). The pendant measures approx. 1" wide by 1-3/8" long and features a hidden bail on the back. The back is textured with a light linen texture. The birthstones used for this pendant from left to right are Amethyst CZ (Feb), Lab Sapphire (Sep), Pink CZ (Oct) and Lab Sapphire (Sep). PLEASE ADD A NOTE TO SELLER WITH YOUR BIRTHSTONE CHOICES AND ORDER YOU WANT THEM IN FROM LEFT TO RIGHT). If ordering less than 3 birthstones, please indicate where you would like your stone placed.

The easiest method for capturing your fingerprints is with pencil, tape and paper. Most fingerprint jewelry listings include a photo showing instructions. Once you have your prints, I prefer a photo of the prints vs. a scan, which tends to soften the lines. Most people use their smart phone and this works very well as long as the photos are well focused and in good lighting.

~ Fine silver is .999 pure silver. It is brighter in color and because it does not contain any copper, it will not tarnish. It still needs to be cleaned periodically and if not cared for properly, it will darken over time. Fine silver is a bit softer than sterling silver so I don't recommend it for bracelets, keychains or if it will rub against a lot of other charms.
~ Sterling silver is .950 silver, which means it contains approx. 5% copper. Copper adds strength to silver, but it also causes it to tarnish more quickly. With proper care, your piece will stay bright and shiny, but if not periodically cleaned, it will tarnish. While sterling silver is stronger than fine silver, it will still scratch if not cared for properly.
