Peanuts beads are fun to stitch with, adding a gorgeous texture to your beading. With this peanut bead tutorial, you'll learn how to stitch a statement bracelet in a pretty double spiral pattern. While I didn't invent the double spiral, this is my take on this popular stitch using 2x4 Peanut beads. After you stitch your beautiful chunky bracelet you can whip up some cute matching earrings (they remind me of a bunch of grapes!)
I discovered the stitched bracelet and earrings fit perfectly in tulip bead caps, which provide a particularly elegant finish to the beaded spiral rope. This jewelry tutorial also provides complete instructions on how to finish your jewelry this way (though of course there are many other ways to finish your stitching.)
If you've always wanted to learn how to stitch a double spiral, these are the instructions for you. While the diagrams and instructions provided are for peanut beads, you can easily substitute OTHER beads to make this double spiral with any beads you choose. I tried for several years to figure out the double spiral, searching in vain for anything on the internet that would show me the steps, and finally just sat down and figured it out myself. The 10-page, full color. easy to understand beading tutorial has tons of diagrams and photographs to guide you through your stitching, as well as step-by-step written instructions, and are designed for beginning beaders. Three colorway options are also shown.
This listing is for a beadweaving tutorial, NOT a finished piece of jewelry.
