The American Flag Wreath is a patriotic decoration that will look stunning in any home or office! It would also make a great gift for any veteran in your life.

This is an easy pattern that calls for chains, single crochets and double crochets. The most difficult part is stitching on the stars and even that isn't that hard.

The American Flag Wreath measures 19.5" across when completed and the pattern calls for 3 skeins of I Love This Yarn that can be found at the Hobby Lobby, however, any worsted weight yarn will work. You will use less than one skein of each of the colors.

You will need an 18" wire wreath frame and wooden stars or star shaped buttons. If you choose the wooden stars, you will also need white craft paint, a craft paintbrush, a drill for the hole, a 1/16" drill bit, needle and thread. If you opt for the star shaped buttons, all you will need is a needle and thread.

I don't recommend using this as an outside decoration over long periods of time. Yarn doesn't usually hold up well when exposed to the elements, including sun, which may fade the colors.

Beautiful wreath, easy to follow pattern. Made this for my grandfathers funeral this weekend and it looks amazing. Hardest part of the pattern is figuring out how to actually wrap the wreath form but that's user error. Definitely will buy from this shop again.
