The quilt measures 43.5 inches x 47 inches, great for a lap or baby quilt! The backing and border are the same beautiful batik. The binding and background fabric are also the same black with subtle black print. The lanterns are from three different fabric collections, and a few of them have silver metallic highlights. The batting is 100% cotton and very soft. A great quilt for keeping warm on cool nights, but not so heavy you can use this during the warmer months.

*I live in a cat-friendly home. One of my cats insists she is very helpful and likes to sit on my cutting table. I've set up a bed for her there, and she tends to sleep in it, but sometimes she wanders. Even though this is pre-washed there is a chance it may contain some cat hair. If you, or the person you give this to, are allergic to cats I recommend washing it when you receive this.*

For longer life machine wash this cold and tumble dry low or hang dry. If you have allergies machine wash this warm and tumble dry warm. The hotter the water and more frequent the washing the shorter lifespan this quilt will have.
