Highlights
These are black walnut hulls.
They have been dried after removal from the walnut shell.
They still have a hint of the naphthalene scent that can be detected when they are fresh.
They are intended for dye or ink making. This includes hair, or cloth, as well as raw fiber.
I have read it has also been used in making soap.
These were gathered from an old abandoned orchard 60 miles north of where we live.
There are 3.5 (7$) if the hulls are not crushed or 4.5 (8$) ounces of hulls if they are.
They are brittle and can easily be crushed down for making a powder, or for application using them by weight.
This item will be shipped via a priority flat rate shipping box unless other arrangements have been made in advance of the purchase.
