6" Slant Back Hair Fork (Ebonised Walnut )

6" Slant Back hair fork hand carved from Walnut and Ebonised to give it the dark color. The Ebonising process I use is not a Dye or Stain but rather a completely natural chemical reaction that occurs when the Tannin in the wood is exposed to Moisture and Iron. The wood literally changes color and the whole process is completely safe, permanent and NON TOXIC not to mention Fun to do :) The Hair Fork measures about 6" or 15.2cm long with A working tine length of 13.3 cm or 5 1/4". I have finished it with Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil and Orange Wax.

***Note*** The Grain, Color and exact size of the actual Hair Fork you will receive will be slightly different then the one pictured. The size will be extremely close, However because they are all individually Hand Carved they do vary slightly.
