How will my item(s) be packaged?

In eco friendly packaging!

The various types of cards used for the Mailing box, the tray and the sleeve are made from 100% post consumer recycled waste that is itself 100% biodegradable and can also be 100% recycled.

The insert is FSC® certified, the materials used to make the card have been ethically sourced from well-managed and sustainable forests.

Cannons inks that I have used: "contain no substance considered to be persistent, bioaccumulating nor toxic (PBT)." and so do not effect the recyclability of the cardboard.

The packing tape is made from paper and can be recycled right along with the boxes.

Can I get reduced postage on multiple items?

•Yes. As long as your happy for your items to travel together in the same box there is no additional postage fee for multiple items.

•By default additional items bought will be sent in one box together.

•If you do require separate boxes than the additional fee will be 60p per additional box, please message me before buying if you require individually boxed items.

When will my item(s) arrive?

For items that are ALREADY MADE I aim to post either the same day of purchase or the one right after.

For items that are MADE TO ORDER please allow an additional 3-5 days for the creation of the item prior to shipping.

Once in the hands of Royal Mail the time it takes to actually deliver your item will be out of my control.

Royal mail predict actual delivery in:

•UK = 3-5 business days
•Everywhere else in the world = 5-14 business days

Please note: If an item sent overseas has trouble getting through customs for any reason it can add at least a week onto the time it takes to deliver that item.

How will my item(s) be sent?

WITHIN THE UK ONLY:

Your items will be sent via Royal Mail.

Orders under £20 will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class with the option to upgrade to 'Signed for™' delivery should you wish extra piece of mind.

Orders of a single item costing over £20 will be sent 'Signed For™'

With 'Signed For™' Please ensure there will be someone at home to receive the item!

Please Note: If you're buying multiple items and your total exceeds £20 It is recommended you opt to upgrade to a 'Signed for' delivery.

FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

Your item will be sent via Royal Mail.

Orders under £20 will be sent 'International Standard™' please note that although parcels are barcoded there is NO tracking with this option

You are welcome to upgrade to the 'International Tracked™' service at checkout for additional peace of mind

Orders of single items costing over £20 will be shipped via Royal Mail's 'International Tracked and signed™' service and once dispatched you will receive a tracking number

I am happy to accept returns and exchanges on any non intimate items such as rings, knecklaces and ear cuffs.

Intimate items are: Earrings made for pierced ears due to the fact that they are inserted into the body.

This includes studs and threaders.

Returns or exchanges of worn stud or threader earrings can not be accepted due to health and hygiene reasons.

Buyer is responsible for postage costs of the return of the item.

The refund will be issued once the item has arrived back to myself.

Will an ear cuff fit me?

Whilst researching ear size, prior to the start of forging, I discovered statistics revealing that 96.7% of 5 years olds have the developmental ear width almost equal to that of an adult and 86.6% reached the adult mark length wise.

I was keen to physically test the theory so for size reference the same ear cuff (upper or lower) will fit my little 8 year old daughter that also fits my hairy eared 32 year old partner, strange but true!

My 8 year old daughter has to squeeze the upper or lower ear cuff gently to get them to grip her ear, my 32 year old partner does not need to squeeze them to get them to grip his ear.

How do I fit an ear cuff?

Both upper and lower ear cuffs are designed to slip over the outer helix at it's thinnest point (usually halfway down the ear) without, in most cases, needing to be opened any further.

The lower cuff will usually sit in place at that point and can be gently squeezed to ensure a firm grip.

The upper cuff is slid up into the desired position before being gently squeezed, if desired, to ensure a secure grip.

Honestly I found social media mentally draining so came away from all of it a few years back, both from my work pages and my personal ones
