Please only provide your dogs NECK measurement. If you provide their current collar length then the collar will be too big. Neck measurement is taken by using a soft dressmakers tape measure around the dogs neck.

You can choose between lots of our colours in either a two or three colour combination.

To finish your lead off you can choose between one of our special ombre threads or pick matching thread to blend in with the dye.

We make the collars to your required size, so please ensure you measure your dogs neck accurately, as once made, they are not adjustable, so we cannot accept returns on collars due to the individual sizes.

Measure where your dogs collar would naturally sit on the neck, using a soft dressmakers measuring tape. Provide us with the measurement in the "note to seller" at the basket stage of ordering. We will then use this size to create your collar, that will fit nicely around your dogs neck, to include the 'two finger rule' ease for comfort. Generally they will be 1.5-2 inches larger than your dogs neck.
I make the collars using a measurement around the inside edge of the collar once done-up, so I only require the dogs neck size, NOT the collar size as this will be different.

We recommend the following:
6mm rope for very tiny breeds or for dogs with neck measurements of 9 inches or less
8mm rope for small dogs with neck measurements 12 inches or less
12mm for medium or large dogs with necks up to 19 inches
And 14mm for big doggies ideal for necks measuring 18 inches or more.

Leads and Collars
Please hand wash only in cold water using a small amount of soap. Do not soak the rope as this can cause staining once dried - if this does happen, just wash again, wring them out thoroughly to get as much water out as possible. Leave them to dry naturally.

Store out of direct sunlight as colours may fade.

Due to the nature of natural cotton rope, after being wet it may shrink. All our collars are made after the initial shrinkage has occurred, therefore if a product has shrunk again slightly after being washed by yourself, you may need to stretch it a little by hand to ensure the fit is correct again.

If your metal hardware becomes stiff after washing, you can use some WD40 to loosen them.

Which rope thickness is suitable?

8mm is for dogs under 8kg in weight, it is our thinnest rope.

12mm is suitable for dogs over 8kg and will be fine for larger breeds too.

16mm is the thickest rope we have, very chunky and is suitable for very large breeds. Usually neck measurements over 19" will require this rope.

Each rope is as strong as each other it just depends on your preference of thickness.

After being used, wipe clean the inside of the baubles with a damp cloth, being careful not to get the outer side wet or damp.
If you store the baubles in a colder/hotter room than where they’ve been used (garage/loft/attic etc) the temperature changes may occasionally (not always) lift the adhered names and paws slightly on the edges. You can easily pat down them again gently and they can be re-used for next year.

Exceptional communication, as I get decision paralysis. Chaan was able to help me figure out a lovely yet unique color combo for my double coated Mini American Shepherds collar. I also ordered a matching double ended leash which is great for training. I recommend, if you have a furry dog like mine, to size up a bit. Mine came out too small and I will have to order another in a few months. I don't care though because it's so darn pretty and I got tons of compliments and it doesn't break his fur (for anyone who has a double coated show dog, this is super important!)
