You have your choice of silver or gold plated ear wires if you choose the earrings :) The pin/brooch is very sturdy. We use a Lock Back pin that is sewn directly to the applique :)

These can be used as appliqués on socks, tablecloths, dollies, pillow cases, tops, hats, baby bottle covers, scrap books, hair clips and bows. The uses are endless :)

These are made with size 10 cotton thread and they measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in length by 1 5/8 inches in width. The shell sticks up about 3/4 of an inch. With ear wires he would be about 2 3/4 inches in length.

These are made using 2 strings and crocheting them together :) You can have the 2 strings the same color or different colors as seen in the photos. Or perhaps you want the body 1 solid color and the shell 2 different? Anything is possible :)
