STITCHY FRIDAY - DIY EMBROIDERY KIT

This ‘Stitchy Friday - DIY Embroidery Kit’ includes everything you need to create a hand embroidered hoop with three brightly colored succulents in it! Create your own contemporary embroidery artwork with different stitches (no traditional cross-stitches are used)!

The pattern design is attached to the ‘Step by Step Guide’ booklet, so you can simply transfer the lines of the cacti onto the embroidery fabric with a pencil. Then simply pop the fabric in the hoop, thread your needle, and start stitching!

These DIY kits are great as gifts for crafty friends and family, but also lots of fun to work on yourself! These kits are a super fun challenge for embroidery beginners, and a lovely activity for those with some embroidery experience.

EACH DIY KIT CONTAINS:

- an extensive ‘Step by Step Guide’ booklet (A5, 8 pages) in English or Dutch (please choose during check-out)
- white embroidery fabric
- a printed black and white pattern design (to transfer onto the fabric yourself)
- matching embroidery threads in 7 different colors
- an embroidery needle (38 mm / 1.5" length, #22)

ABOUT STITCHY FRIDAY:

Stitchy Friday is a project by illustrator Marijke Buurlage (daughter, 30 y/o) and embroiderer Aukje Kamstra (mom, 55 y/o) from Holland. The idea is simple: Marijke creates an illustration and Aukje turns it in to an embroidery piece! Each Friday they post a work in progress of their current project on their Instagram page (@stitchyfriday).

Delightful colors, easy to grasp explanations... even as a beginner, I feel like I'm managing not-to-shabby cacti! The packaging was also super cute and Marijke even included a small gift! An overall wonderful kit, for beginners and experienced embroiderers alike.
