We prefer leather because it’s strong, long-lasting but also flexible, allowing the sandal to embrace your foot. We only use the best quality of cow leather, additionally our rubber sole is made of eco-friendly material.

Each pair of Sandmade sandals is unique because all of our sandals are manufactured in the traditional way. The sandal is built up by hand, then the sole is stitched firmly to the shaft. Each pair of sandals is treated individually during manufacture. The natural tanning and processing by hand allows for slight variations in leather. These variations are highlighted by the particular way you wear them, which inspires each sandal with personality, a story, a life. Our aim is to create a delicate and durable pair of sandals which will accompany you during your life journey by creating beautiful memories.
Instructions for better care:

The leather will become softer and eventually it will take the shape of your foot by hugging your foot. With exposure to sunlight the natural brown colour will take a darker shade and will become more beautiful. Please take extra care not to immerse them in water as leather is a natural material.

Feet measurement technique:

First you have to stand up, place your foot on blank paper.
• Draw the sketch of your foot on a blank paper from the heel to the big toe, then measure the distance between the
heel to the big toe
• Check our size guide in order to find your size. Please bare in mind always to add 0.4 inches or 1 cm more for best fit.
• You are one step closer to enjoy your real hand made sandals.
• If you fall between sizes it is recommended to order up the next size.
