This listing is for a 30 page eTUTORIAL, including written instructions, diagrams, illustrations, and photos. It was designed for the Intermediate to Advanced beadweaver, and takes about 13 - 18 hours to create, depending on your personal skill level and speed. The process involves creating a bezel that combines Peyote stitch and Chenille stitch, and familiarity with both is helpful. A Chenille Rope is woven on a satin cord, and the end of the cord bells out, leading to the focal. A toggle and loop clasp are woven as well.

Please see all the listing photos and be aware that many different bead shapes and sizes are required to make this necklace. The pattern also involves the use of small beads, the new Toho Demi beads, and well as some 15/0 beads. The instructions include advice for choosing your own beads if you prefer to do that.

The Swarovski jewel is backed with leather, and that process is included in the instructions. There is also a video tutorial on my Haute ice Beadworks blog to help you if you choose to do this yourself. The pattern was designed around a leather backed jewel, and may or may not work with a jewel that does not have a leather backing.
