This custom t-shirt quilt is made from your own t-shirts. The squares or rectangles cut from your t-shirts will be made to fit the largest print on the t-shirts you send. In general a 14-16'' square can usually be used for each block. The quilt can be made into various sizes depending on the number of blocks or t-shirts you want included (12, 16, 20, 24, 25, 30, 36, 42, 49). Price is determined by the number of blocks in the finished product. An optional border can be added around each quilt block with a solid knit color of your choice.

You can choose from a fleece or knit backing. The fleece is a warmer option, while the knit has a similar feel to the t-shirt material. Various colors are available for the backing. I order all of my backing fabrics from Joann Fabrics. You can see swatches of the knit and fleece fabric at the websites listed below. You can pick any color from these even if they weren't listed on the drop-down menu. Just select 'custom' and contact me with your choice. The layers are quilted together at the borders with an option to also have the layers quilted around each block at no additional charge. I use a quilt batting of Warm and Natural 100% cotton batting in between the layers.
