We recommend hand washing the silk (with mild detergent or even shampoo) gently in cool water and hanging dry. If there is shimmer on your silk, be extra gentle because it does not like being washed (over time) so be as gentle as possible. You can iron them if your iron is set to the correct setting for silk.

option 1: the regular tassel tallit, which comes with unto an inch of beads (or you can request no beads)

option 2: the extra bead tassel tallit, which comes with a couple inches of beads

2. And then choose whether to add Hebrew lettering (the lettering is a scripture verse that connects to the silk we dye for you)

3. If God has put particular color(s) or scripture(s) on your heart to go with the silk (or if you want to request an existing silk you've seen that we've made previously), you can include that information in the personalization section or message it to us and it will be included as we make your silk.

AFTER YOU CHECK OUT

We pray and ask God what to make you (as far as colors, name, meanings etc) taking into account any specific pieces you've included (for more about our process visit: http://dyed4youministries.com/about-our-silk-letters-art-words/

Finally, we create your silk and ship it to you with a silk letter including the full download with scriptures, color meanings, words etc.

If you want a silk scarf from us, but don't want to pick which name you get, one of our CUSTOM, PROPHETICALLY HAND-DYED SILKS is the way to go. Simply place your order and that's all you need to do, our team will do the rest. We will pray and ask God what to create for you. The silk will arrive with its letter giving the name, scriptures, color meanings, etc. - we regularly receive beautiful testimonies from people who’ve been blessed by the prophetic words that come with their silks. This oversized beaded tallit (prayer covering/prayer shawl) is wonderful to wrap up in during quiet times of prayer. It is perfect for personal devotion times and makes a wonderful gift for a pastor/pastor’s wife, ministry leader - or simply anyone who is in ministry or devoted in prayer! And the single bead tassel tallit also works well for men (we added that option specifically for them and by request).

It has handcrafted beaded tassels on the four corners (Deuteronomy 22:12) and each tzitzit has 1 intentionally blue strand running through its hand-crafted tassel (Numbers 15:37-41). Jewish tradition states that these tassels must be created intentionally, much in the same way one doesn’t wake up one morning and OOPS have a wedding ring on. These symbolize your commitment to the LORD and to His word.

Additionally, you can request a scripture that coordinates with the silk letter be painted in Hebrew on the silk.

This tallit comes with a name, color meanings, scriptures, and more that are documented in the letter that comes with this silk. PLEASE NOTE this tallit/prayer shawl is created by a Christian and the letter that comes with it may include scriptures from the New Testament. If you are not a Christian, you are still welcome to purchase one, but please be aware that our tzitzyot are not in the traditional knotted fashion, but again, we do have the blue cord running through them according to scripture.

Our beaded tallit is 100% Habotai Silk with a light but sturdy weight and smooth touch. This fabric is what people often call “China silk.” They are approximately 44x72” each, 8mm weight, and have a hand-rolled, machine-sewn edge. A hand-crafted beaded tzitzit (tassel) is attached to each corner. They have been created to be as strong as a delicate item can be, but they should be treated with care (the tassel option is the stronger of the two, so if you don't want to have to be as mindful of being careful with your prayer shawl, choose the tassel option). They come with an organza bag for storage.
