If you live in a hot climate, make sure you keep your items in a cool, dark, dry place. For an even longer shelf life, keep items in the fridge.

Everything I use is as fresh and in season as possible. Sometimes, the herbs I harvest will produce a different color than the year before - plants are subject to slight changes in color.

I use recycled packaging materials. Friends of mine keep their packaging from items they receive in the mail so I can use it to package mine. Since packaging gets thrown out anyway, this is my way of adding less trash to the world.

We are not responsible for customs fees or VAT. These fees are determined by your country at the time of the arrival of your package. We are required by law to accurately describe all contents of your order on the shipping label (we cannot mark purchases as gifts), so please be aware of the fact that you may incur further fees to claim your order.

Items must be in original condition and unused to be eligible for a refund. Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost. Buyer will be refunded the amount of of the item(s) once they are received in the mail.

If an item does not agree with your skin please contact me ASAP. I do not accept returns for opened & used items due to sanitary issues. I can offer store credit in this situation. Thank you.

My orders are shipped within 1-2 weeks of the date your purchase. Quite often, I will ship them the same week they are ordered. I give myself this much time incase I have a large queue of orders to fill.

Note: PLEASE send me a DIRECT message on Etsy if you would like your order shipped sooner! If you put a note in the comment section at checkout, I will likely not see it until I go to print your order. If there are many orders ahead of you, you can purchase "rush shipping" and get it pushed to the front. If I don't have many orders ahead, or if what you ordered is in stock, I will be able to send it out quicker. Please, just ask! :) I have a rush shipping option and you can pay a little more to have your order pushed to the front.

Vital Herbals is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. First class shipping does not include insurance, so if you would like additional insurance to ensure your package is protected, please contact me before you complete your order.

If your package does get lost or stolen, contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to help you locate it/file a police report.

Vital Herbals is open 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday, closed on Sundays and Holidays (whenever the post office is closed). Messages will be answered within 2 business days. Please allow me this time to respond - and if the matter is urgent, put the word "urgent" in the beginning of the message, please. Thank you so much :)
