*Not all printers can print on our paper, we do not make any guarantees.
► ORDER A SAMPLE TO TEST FIRST to test paper on your printer. The best way to know if you canprint on this paper is to try to print on it.
1. Open the file you want to print. (tip: high resolution PDF files will print best) Click Print to open your printer settings. Select the correct Page size or enter the correct page size, make your print margins as small as your printer allows (most ink jets will allow a .05" marine but this can vary).
2. Click on your printer settings for your printer, select Thick Media as your Paper type (if you have thick media 1, thick media 2, thick media 3 you would select thick media 3)
3. Put one sheet of paper in the correct paper feed, print one sheet and see how your printer does. If your printer is able to print you can put more sheets in, but make sure they are separated and that you never over stuff a paper feed.
4. Make sure the frayed edge is flat and not sticking up when going through the printer.
HOW TO KNOW IF A PRINTER MIGHT PRINT ON THICK DECKLED PAPER
• • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
1. First check the smallest paper size the printer you want to use can print on to make sure it can print on the sheet size you have ordered.
2. This paper doesn't not work for 2 sided printing. The only way to print on thick paper 2 sided is to run it through the paper 2 times. Most printers that are inhome printers and can duplex print cannot print on thicker paper, but not all you will need to check if the printer has a separate tray for thicker paper.
3. Check that your printer can print on thicker paper. Printers will say what kind of paper they can printer on. If your printer can print on fine art, thick media, or card stock.
4. Many printers that are good photo printers work well with this paper. We prefer using inkjet to print on our paper, but some laser printers work, you have to test them. Laser printers can usually print on thicker paper but can be affected but the slight texture in the paper. This will really vary from printer to printer.
