It is simple, useful and attractive. Best price for this size single post railing! The top is made of flat bar if you are looking for the more ornamental version check my other listings. Thanks.
Specifications:
This rail is perfect if you need a little help up one or two steps.
Designed for use with a step having about a 7 inch rise, but can be used with other sizes too.
The 3/8 x 6 x 4 inch base plate and double tube post are designed to take the extra stress of having only a single post..
The top rail is about 18 inches long and has bend for added usability.
The level part of the rail is 3 feet 4 inches above the ground.
The post is 1 x 1 inch steel tube, plus a one foot section of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch tubing is slid over this and secured to the base and post.
The entire rail comes with one coat of gray primer - ready for you to finish paint (2 coats is best).
See other paint options below.
Needless to say this rail is very stout and most of the visible welds are covered by an attractive cast steel cover. There is nothing to assemble! The rail is one solid piece weighing in at 18 pounds!
Installation: This couldn't be simpler. The rail mounts to the center of a step or right before a single step up. You will need a hammer drill and bit capable of drilling a 3/8 hole.
We provide you with the concrete anchors you will need. Not recommended for most brick or stone surfaces unless they are extremely secure.
Hardware: Choose between concrete, brick, or wood anchors.
Paint: We offer the choice of three colors black, white, and hammered brown. All three are good quality paint. Please be advised that with the paint options I cannot guarantee it won't be scratched in shipping. You may find that you need to touch up on location. I'm offering this as a service because I know some people don't have a place to paint.
Shipping: Once ordered, your rail will be shipped in 3-5 business days. I reserve the right to choose either FedEx or USPS at the time of shipping regardless of what was chosen at checkout. Transit times are usually the same--I only us the Parcel Select option in rare cases where it offers a steep discount.
