Shou Sugi Ban Style Burned Natural Tree Wood Coasters with Bark (4 or 6 Pack). These coasters are hand cut and beautifully finished with a Japanese Shou Sugi Ban style burned finish! These wood coasters are 100% real cut from natural trees, dried, hand sanded and hand sealed with a water resistant finish to last a lifetime. Before we finish them, we lightly char the top to provide that beautiful rustic and modern look.

Our artisan ‘Manmade Woods Coasters’ are all handcrafted in our work shop ensuring the highest quality. Each coaster is unique as they hold the trees natural lines. We then seal each wood drink and beverage coaster with all natural sealant to protect and preserve to last a lifetime. We never cut down live trees to make any of our products and only preserve and up cycle already down trees.

Love the coasters, they have a unique/distinct look . They smelled heavily of the varnish ( or whatever was used to seal) when I opened the package, so I put them out on my porch and let them air out.. It worked pretty well, the smell is not overpowering anymore.
