Wearable knit and crochet items can be washed by hand washing in a sink or washing on a low setting in cold or medium heat. They should be air-dried to prevent any kind of shrinking. Household knit and crochet items can be washed on cold at a low setting and then dried in a dryer.

Why are my washcloths not square?

Because of the nature of crochet, the stitches are "tighter" in one direction than the other. Over time the stitches will loosen up in water and make the washcloths square.

I want to wash my hat, but it has a puffy yarn ball on top!

All puffy yarn balls are removable! Inside the hat you will see either a bow or a slip-knot. If you untie it, you can pull the puffy yarn ball off and wash the body of the hat. To reattach the ball, tie the long string on the ball to a safety pin and push it through the hole at the top. You can make a bow or slip-knot using the hat string on the inside!

Your shipping costs are so expensive when I buy multiple items. What gives?

Great question! My shipping prices are set for each item in its own box. When you select to purchase multiple items from my shop, the internal calculations assume I'm shipping each one individually. Once your order comes through, I can recalculate the shipping costs and issue a refund for any overages!

The color from your washcloths/facial pads/soap savers is coming off the first time I use them. What can I do?

Sometimes the color from the dyed cotton I use is not set completely. This is especially noticeable with black cotton. If you're using the products I made and notice that the dye is coming off, here is how to set the colors: 1) Fill your clean sink or bucket with cold water 2) Submerge your finished item in the water 3) Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the bath and gently mix it in 4) Let itemsoak in the white vinegar bath for 30 minutes 5) After 30 minutes, pour out the vinegar water from your tub or remove your item 6) Rinse your item under cool running water 7) Squeeze the excess water from your item (DO NOT RING) You can let them air dry from this point. The colors should stay nice and vibrant without fading or bleeding.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All packaging is discreet. Depending upon the size of your item, your order will either come in a white, reusable, 100% recycled polymailer OR covered in recycled brown mailing paper. From the outside, there are no indications as far as what you ordered!

What are your care suggestions for your bracelets? Can I wear it 24/7 or do you recommend removing it before showers/sleeping/washing hands/etc?

These bracelets can be worn 24/7 for as long as they last (I had one on for 2.5 years before I finally cut it off). They're made of 100% cotton so the colors will last through chlorine and showers. Once it gets wet, you can just squeeze it gently with a towel and let it air dry while it's on. The fibers will stretch overtime and loosen up a bit, but nothing you will notice right away.
